Ephrata Youth Cheerleading Program is made up of volunteers who love to cheer and want to see all of our cheerleaders grow in their love of cheerleading, while ensuring they are in a safe and fun environment.

D Squad Coach
I just moved to Akron at the beginning of the year with my fiancé Jason, my daughters Lily and Maggie, and my stepsons Hunter and Hendrix. This is Lily's first year doing sideline cheer, but she did recently participate in wrestling cheer at Wilson. This will be my first year coaching and I am so excited! I work full-time in Infection Prevention at LGH. You'll often find us at many different kids sporting events with Maggie playing U6 soccer for EYSC, and the boys playing U8 and U10 travel baseball for Warwick. We are a busy bunch!

Hi my name is Ayvory Dowlin! I will be going into 10th grade and I have cheered for Ephrata for 2 years now! This is going to be my first year participating in youth coaching but I am so excited to see what this year has in store for us all!
Carissa Murphy

Hi! My name is Carissa Murphy and I am going into 12th grade. I’ve been cheering for 3 years on the Ephrata Varsity cheer team. This is my first time coaching youth cheer! I am so excited to meet everyone and be a part of this program. I am looking into being a teacher so I thought this would be a great way to get a peek into being a leader and being able to work with kids! I can’t wait for cheer season, Go Mounts💜💛

Gwen Rearich
B squad Coach
I am excited to coach B Squad again for a third year! I work as a package designer at a skincare company in Reading, yet I live here in Ephrata. Being a part of the EYCP as a cheerleader back in 2009 gave me a deep love for the sport and activity of cheerleading. Currently, I cheer on an adult team at the Lititz-based gym, East Coast Evolution. We won gold in the International Open Non-Tumbling Level 4 division in 2024. I hope to be a source of guidance and support for B Squad with my years of cheerleading experience.

Hi my name is Isabella Deamer but I go by Izzy. I am going into 8th grade. I have been cheering since 2019 I'm so excited to be a Jr Coach this year. I love cheerleading and teaching other people to love cheer as much as I do. This is my first time being a Jr Coach. I can't wait to meet new people and create bonds with people! I am excited to see what this season will bring to us!

Hi! My name is Katelyn Yang and I'm going into 10th grade. Last year was my first year cheering for the Ephrata JV team. This will be my first year participating in Ephrata Youth Cheerleading and I'm so excited for this new opportunity! I can't wait to meet everyone and teach kids what cheer is all about!

I am Makenzie, I recently graduated from Ephrata High School. I am going into my sophomore year at Millersville University as a Psych major with a minor in Criminology. I also work as a student worker in our Psychology department. I cheered at Ephrata for 6 years and I am so excited to now be a part of our youth program. I cannot wait to share my passion of cheer with all of the girls, and am so excited to get started!

Hi I’m Paige and I’ll be going into my freshman year of college. I'm going to graduate from Ephrata this spring and am looking forward to going to college at Lebanon Valley. I have been a Jr Coach with the EYCP for the past 4 years and am very excited to be continuing as an official coach this year. Continuing to work with so many great kids and fellow coaches is something I’m very excited to return to and I hope we have a great season!
